" I obtained multiple estimates to re-shingle and remove and reinstall our solar panels. Although not the least expensive nor the most expensive, we went with Duralast because it was one-stop shopping and Jeff & Leslie were very easy to work with. We went with the Titan 30-year shingles. From signing the contract to completion was about 10 days which included getting the necessary permits, removing the solar panels, re-shingling, getting inspected by the city, and reinstalling the solar panels. The solar team led by Chad did a great job. It was also comforting to pay after the job was completed versus paying upfront. The wind mitigation inspection was part of the contract and saved us $1,000 on our homeowner’s insurance. We didn’t use financing, but Duralast can also get you financing assuming you have a good credit score. "

" This company just started reroofing 2 weeks ago in our townhome community of 50+ buildings. They are doing an awesome job and are on the roofs 12+ hours a day rain or shine. I too have been through a new roof project on a single home and there is no comparison considering the scale of the job. I would rather deal with a landscaping issue instead of worrying about my roof leaking. If I encounter a problem I go through the proper chain of command as opposed to bashing a company I know nothing about.
Also landscaping is the responsibility of the hoa. These are just growing pains to improve our community but there is always someone willing to complain rather than be grateful. Painting is next on the agenda, I always recommend if you don't like the way things are done attend an hoa meeting or move to an non hoa community. "

" After last year's hurricane, my roof suffered. It was getting old anyway, but I now needed a completely new one before the next season. I did my homework and learned more than I wanted to about roofs and shingles. I interviewed about 10 different companies and, in the end, I didn't go with the cheapest. However, I did select the one I thought would give me the best roof. I am still of that opinion.
Jeff, the estimator, is a fast talking businessman. I like the guy because he's all about the business. Like anyone else, he's selling a product. If you aren't checking out what people are trying to sell you, then shame on you. I checked out what he was selling me and I liked it. I think it's a better product. Lots of people out there were more charismatic, but that's not what I want to buy. I wanted the best roof and I think that's what I have. He even threw in some extra plywood as part of the negotiation.

The crew showed up early, ripped off the old shingles and replaced the bad wood quickly. Jeff told me that I would probably need more than the two sheets (that everyone else was including in their prices,) and he included 6 sheets. It turns out I needed them all! Wow!
Shingles went on without a hitch and every few hours, someone was walking the perimeter picking up debris that had fallen off the roof. The result was that I had a new roof in less than 2 days and VERY little debris in the shrubs. It was very clean.
That night I noticed the air wasn't working. It was a mild night so it wasn't critical, but I wondered whether it was a coincidence. I called the AC guy the following day and he said it was a power problem. While I was waiting for the electrician to come, I called Duralast and Pete came over himself and crawled around in my attic looking for the problem. It turned out that an errant nail had caught a wire and shorted it. After the electrician fixed it that afternoon, I called PHI and told them. Without even saying anything, they asked how much it had cost me and took it off my bill, apologizing profusely. I tell this story because I think it demonstrates professionalism.
The bottom line is that I have a great looking new roof, ready for another chaotic season, and I think it's the best one of a lot of alternatives. Thanks, guys! Well done! "

" After the hurricane, I had a big hole I'm my roof from a tree limb blown out of a neighbors Oak tree. The ceiling was soaking wet from the rain coming in and I thought the entire ceiling might collapse. I called them, and they came out the same day and put a tarp on the roof to stop the water making things worse. After the storm had gone, and the roof dried out, they came and replaced the roof, helping me with my stubborn insurance company and even repaired the ceiling that was damaged. All the people were so helpful and kind, especially during my ranting. They made me feel like everything was going to be alright...and it was.
